Apps for 071211 and also 3 utilities apps to recommend~

Downloaded 3 apps today, haven't tried them yet, but downloading them first because, as usual, they are free for a while only:

1) Need for speed Undercover

A car racing app by the famous title, Need for Speed. I played the tutorial and the first stage, and I must say that there is a reason why the file is only 90+mb, as compared to the Asphalt 6 game that I managed to download for free when it first came out, which is much bigger. The controls are similar, you tilt your iPhone to steer, tap to brake. But NFSU have one more special feature, which is the slow motion feature, where you just swipe down while driving, and you get around 3 seconds of slow motion, particularly useful for steering out of oncoming traffic or preventing a crash. Yeah...

Anyway, back to the reason why it's much smaller, it's because the graphics is quite... lousy, in comparison to Asphalt. But the plus point is that there is a storyline in this game~ so.. if you are looking for a racing game that has a storyline, here is one app for you to download! =D

2) I am T-Pain 2.0

From what I rememeber, this is a auto-tune app, and I have always wanted an auto-tune app (you know, those kind of app that makes melody out from your normal sentences). So.. yeah.. I tried it... but it doesn't seem to be... impressive. -_- Maybe I will take more time to figure out it's potential...

* * * * * *

Ok, and I shall share 3 utilities apps that I found very useful so far:

1) Dictionary!

This app, as you can tell from the name, is a dictionary! And it does not require any internet connection to use once you have downloaded it! So.. yeah, have been using it once in a while whenever I need to find the meanings of new words. So definitely a useful app to have!

2) Google translate

Yup, an app by itself, google translate! But unlike the previous app that I mentioned, this one requires internet connection. And this one is for lazy people like me, who just want an app to translate language, instead of using safari to connect to google translate.

3) Scan

As QR code gets more and more common, obviously we need to have an app to scan those QR codes for us~ so.. ta-da~ Yup~ Nothing much to say about this app.
