1) Spectral Souls
A $13.99 game that is made available for free!!! But... only for the first three battles (but I guess it's good enough~)
2) 风行
For those who are familiar with Funshion... you will definitely be interested in this app, on your iPhone!!! For those who don't, this is an app that allows you to watch videos!
3) Spellsword
My latest addiction! Basically a simple platformer where you control a character, moving left and right, jumping around and slashing around with your sword. As the name of the game suggest, you get to collect different spell cards while you are facing waves of enemies, and... basically just complete missions along the way~ Simple yet challenging game that is easy to learn! =)

Update on 02/07/12
Haven't been downloading any useful apps recently, which kind of explains the lack of updates for the whole of June... (excuse :P) So anyway, here are some apps that is worth a try~
1) One Piece AR Carddass formation (world)
If you are a fan of One Piece, then this is a game that you can consider. It's basically a battle game where you use different characters to fight one another. The format of battle is actually the simple scissors paper stone though... so it can get a bit boring after a while~
2) Project 83113
An action platformer game, where you slide your fingers to control your character. Graphics is not bad, and you can switch between weapons. Worth playing~
3) Monsters ate my condo
It's a japanese game, and quite addictive too. You have a tower/condo made of tiles that dropped from the sky, and there are two monsters on each side of the tower. You just need to keep on feeding the monsters to keep them happy, while trying to match the colours of the condos at the same time to form combos and high scores. A nice game to burn your time if you have some spare time~
4) Robotek HD
A battle game where you control a robot, and requires a bit of strategy to win the game. The battle format is turn based, and do remember to finish each battle before quitting the app.

Updates for 16/05/12
Ok, very sorry that I haven't been updating this blog as often as I hoped. So anyway, this update will be longer to make up for the lack of updates for the past few weeks~
1) Death Rally
This is a racing/shooting game, and for those who have played games like Twisted Metal, it's somewhat similar, just that you view your vehicle from the top view. Basically, the controls are simple, a joystick on the left to control where your car goes (it will auto accelerate, so you just control the direction) while the joystick on the left controls your weapon. Definitely an app worth downloading if you like to drive and take down other cars at the same time~
2) 麻将- 明星三缺一 - 16张
For those who are into Mahjong, this is an app for it. The downside is... it plays the HK style, where there are 16 tiles instead of our usual 14. Nonetheless, it's still mahjong, and you can to play as different celebrities, against other players.
3) Juggernaut: Revenge of Sovering
An RPG game where you just enter battles and fight monsters as well as do some treasure hunting along the way. The battle is a turn-based format, and you get to buy different equipments along the way. Looks promising, and I am still level 4.. so I can't say whether there is more to this game~
4) Bar Oasis 1.5
An interesting game, where you play the role of a bartender (newbie) in this bar. There is a nice storyline that goes with the game, so basically you learn how to make several cocktails as you progress. Actions like pouring hard liquor and shaking the cocktail are necessary, so you might want to consider whether you want to play this game in public or in private. Lol. My knowledge on cocktails just increased by a bit... but I believe I will forget them pretty quickly after a while though. Lol.
5) Be a surgeon
Ok.. this game TOTALLY reminds me of the nintendo game, Trauma Centre, I played 5 years ago. But it's definitely lousier... with bad English and poorer storyline. So anyway, for those who never played Trauma centre before, this game is about an intern surgeon becoming a proper surgeon. To avoid spoilers, let's just say somewhere along the game, I think your 4th surgery or 5th surgery, you will learn something amazing about yourself, which makes this game more interesting .Yup, so basically, you are guided by your nurse in the first few surgeries, and basically just cut your patient open and stitch them back after you are done with treating their injuries or diseases. Worth trying if you never play such games before, but not worth trying if you like Trauma Centre (because it's better). But then again, this is a free app, so... yeah~
6) Fantasy X Runners
A nice game where your character just keeps on running forward, and you have two controls, jump and attack, and you basically avoid obstacles, kill monsters and attain loot. Quite fun, and when you unlock different heroes, you get to use different attacks~
7) Hatchi
For those who are at least 18 years old, you might recall that back then during your childhood, there's this game called Tamagochi which was very popular then. This is exactly it. A virtual pet, that allows you to feed, wash, and play with it. The thing to this is that there are different evolution forms that the pet can take, so there's replay value after you finish raising your first pet. You can release your pet into the forest after they are 7 days old, and then you can choose to rear a new pet from there.
OK~ I think updates for 7 gaming apps is enough.... But wait, I have another useful app to recommend!
8) Timercam
For those who love to take photos with your iPhone, especially group shots, this is a nice timer camera app to get. You can choose from 5 ,10 ,15 or 30 seconds timer, and even support front camera function! Also, if you turn on the volume, you can make it countdown at 3seconds, so you need not have your smiles frozen there while not knowing whether the photo has been captured. Haha.
Ok, hope you guys like this update~

Updates for 030412
Lack of updates due to busy schedule~ so I'm blogging on my phone now on the public transport to utilize my traveling time.. So here goes:
1) Blogger app
Lol, I should have recommended this app much earlier. It's the app that I'm using now, while typing this entry. So... Yeah, it's an useful app for blogspot bloggers, and allow easy posting of entries on your blog using ur smart phones. Recommended for bloggers with busy schedules(like me), who don't really have time to sit in front of the computer to blog.
2) Slap
A fun app meant for 2 players. And basically, each player takes turn to hit the other, while the other tries to dodge the attack. I remember I used to play similar games web I was in secondary school... And the good thing abt this app is that we are hitting each other virtually, so no pain at all! Haha. Download this app and give it a try, fun and laughter will be guaranteed. :)

Update for 070312
Ok.. my previous post didn't really introduce other apps... so here's an update~
1) DOOORS - Room escape game
This game basically test your... creativity and puzzle solving skills, and consists of 35 stages. In each stage, you are in a room with an exit, but you need to solve the puzzle in order to exit the room. I kind of got stuck somewhere around level 18 I think... Hahaha, do try it if you like puzzle games~
2) Noose Tones
For Singapore readers, or anyone who have watched "The Noose" (a Singapore production), here is an app that allows you to customise your iPhone ringtone, with voice effects from actors from The Noose, such as Lulu, Leticia and Pornsak.
3) Zombine Panic in Wonderland Plus
Ok, this game looks sweet and pretty, where you combine zombie and fairy tale-like characters in one game. The thing is... I can't seem to play beyond level 1, without paying real cash. So... yeah... Saddened.

Updates for 210212
Quick update~
One game, one photo, one utility~
1) Anthill
An interesting game where you use your fingers to trace and determine which path the ants will take. Basically, the objective of the game is to collect as much food as possible, while defending yourself against enemies (like ladybugs and bettles). Worth a try!
2) Panorama camera
As the name implies, this photo app allows you to take panoramic shots with your iPhone! Obviously, it is free, and there is this "compass" function on the camera, such that when you take the photos, you will know exactly which angle you need to aim in order to combine them together.
3) Draw Pad
Something like a personal organiser for your iPhone (and I strongly suspect this app also works for iPad as well), and on top of the function of "notes" that is already inbuilt in iPhones, this app allows you to use your fingers to draw different stuff, such as graphs, or some simple mindmap. So... definitely something new~ I recommend it because this is the first time I come across a free app that allows me to draw freely on iPhone.

Updates for 110212
Spotted a few apps worth downloading!
1) Running Fred
A game that requires you to tilt your device to control your character, Fred, who is just running and running. Along the way, you get to unlock different abilities, such as double jump, bouncing off walls and even running on walls. Worth trying~
2) Tappily Ever After
For those people who are familiar with TapZoo and Taptown series, it's a new game by the same developer! But this time round, it's set in a medieval times, with a bit of storyline. For those who are not familiar with this series, it's simply tapping. Haha, like you buy different animals and buildings, and come back once in a while to collect revenue from them, and just repeat this whole cycle until you are bored of this game. I wonder how long this game will stay on my iPhone...
3) Ticket to Ride pocket
!!! Ok, it just got free this morning, so I am downloading it first~ Having played the board game before, I think this game should be quite fun on iPhone. And indeed, it's similar to the board game! And this app actually allows 4 kind of game play: Solo, local (I assume this means players using the same wifi), online (using game centre) and pass and play (using just one iPhone). So, do download this app if you are a fan of that game! =)
4) SkySafari 3
This app is for people who likes to stargaze, and probably don't know much about the topic. I tried it 3 nights ago with a friend who stargaze, and woah, I am lucky to be able to see stars like Sirus, Venus and Jupiter with the help of this app. Basically, this app is something like a compass, so when you activate it, it will sort of points to you where the different stars are, so you can turn and look at the different stars in the sky. Yup~

Update for 080212
Was super duper busy... which explains the lack of updates~
1) Crazy Bomber
Heard of bomberman? Yup, this game is very very similar to bomberman.
2) Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Ok, this game is nice! Basically, you started the game as a dead character, but your ghost can possess different objects to perform different task, and the objective of the game is to find out why and how you died. Storyline looks good... a pity only the first 2 chapters are free...
3) Ski on Neon
This game reminds me of TinyWings, which is an awesome game that I got to play when my friend lent me his account. It's a tap based game where you try to make your character move forward, making use of slopes and so on. Although not as nice as TinyWings, it's still worth trying~
4) Triple Town
An interesting game whereby you try to make the biggest town. However, the game concept is that you are only given limited tiles, and then you try to combine stuff together. E.g. you start off with grass, and 3 patches of grass makes a bush, 3 bushes makes a tree, 3 trees makes a house... so yeah... This app is one of the apps that I am playing recently.
5) Cause of Death
OMG, I should have introduced this game much earlier. Basically, this game is a text-based detective game, and it comes with a complete volume one content. Every week, it provides 1 free chapter, but due to some mechanics of the game, you can only store 1 free chapter in the game at any point of time. So.. yeah.. right now, we are at volume 6 or something... so the story is quite far behind. Nonetheless, it's still a nice game, and new users can just download and play the first volume, which is pretty good too~
6) Great Little War Game
This game is good! Haha, a turn based strategy game, and you get to control different units and deploy them in the battlefield. Another game that I'm hooked onto recently.

Updates for 250112
Oops, school started, and this is going to be my busiest semester... which explains why I only came back to update this blog now. So anyway, here are a few apps I downloaded recently and feel that it's worth recommending:
1) Tiny Brush
Basically, it's a game that involves paint brushes. The objective of the game is to paint as much as possible in the given space, while competing against your opponent(s). So it's like... you have one colour (red) and your opponent has another (green), and your objectives is to paint the blank space as red as possible, and at the end of the given time, the game will determine who painted the majority of the space. Yup, and this game features multiplayer mode too~
2) Steambirds: Survival
Slightly similar to the game "Crimson: Steam Pirates", this game also goes by a turn-by-turn format, but this time round, you control the plane. Yeah, and in my opinion, this game is less complicated than Crimson: Steam Pirates, so... that explains why I deleted Crimson: Steam Pirates and kept on playing this game. =)
3) Multi-lens
Well, this is a camera app, and basically allows you to take photos in frames... like allowing you to put 4 photos into the same frame. And there are a few different formats you can choose from. So.. yeah, can consider trying this out if you are looking for a camera app.

Updates for 090112
Word games update!
In my opinion a nicely presented game, where you are given 9 letters, and you need to form words that are at least 4-letters long, using one fixed letter provided. Currently hooked on to this game~
Downloaded a few free games that is related to words, so here goes:
1) Imangi
It's a super challenging word game, and you are supposed to form as many words as possible from the letters on the board.

Happy new year! Update for 040112
Happy new year everyone!
And sorry for the lack of updates for the past week, because it's the holiday season!!! So anyway, here are the few apps that caught my attention recently:
1) KartRider Rush
It's a cute racing game, kind of reminds me of Chocobo racing:
the controls are quite simple, and I only tried one match on this app. What caught my attention for this app is that it allows up to 4 players to play together via Bluetooth connection. So... yeah... worth considering~
2) Haunted hotel 3: Lonely Dream
It's a detective mystery game, which also have some elements of escape the room as well as find the objects together in one app. I'm currently trying my best to rush complete this game, because it's 417MB, taking up too much of my iPhone space. Haha. I played for 2 days straight already, and nothing TOO SCARY happened. So.. you can consider if you are into such games~
3) Escape game "Dangerous Luxury Liner"
Ok, this looks like a typical "escape the room" game, and because it's not too big, and it's FREE FOR A DAY, I downloaded it. This one is quite a short one, and I would think the difficulty is medium? Completed it within half a day~
